At Poulton-le-Sands, we use AccessArt to inspire creativity and support high-quality teaching in art across the school. AccessArt provides a rich range of ideas, techniques and projects that help children develop their artistic skills, express themselves and explore their imagination.

Through AccessArt, pupils are encouraged to experiment with different media, materials, and styles while building confidence and knowledge in art. Lessons are designed to be engaging and progressive, allowing children to develop technical skills alongside creativity and personal expression.

This approach ensures that art is accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful, helping children to build a lifelong appreciation for creativity. Although we follow this approach to art, we also take inspiration from our local area, making our creations place-based.
